Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said on Thursday that he believed the U.S. would use the Magnitsky Act to impose sanctions on Hungarian officials before the parliamentary election in April. His comments come after Hungary was excluded from the guest list for President Joe Biden’s Summit for Democracy, to be held virtually on December 9 to 10. Hungary’s right-wing prime minister, Viktor Orbán, is seeking a fourth term in office in next year’s election....

“I have never, ever, ever spoken with Evergrande or anyone else in China,” James Pallotta, a U.S. investor and president of AS Roma since 2012, told Reuters. “We are not in talks with anyone.” Earlier a source close to the matter, who declined to be identified, had said China Evergrande Group was negotiating to buy an initial stake of around 30 percent in AS Roma, with an option to take a majority holding in the future....

Shang Wang drove to the fast food restaurant in Rockville, Maryland, when he passed by a red Nissan SUV that was idling and blocking the drive-thru from other customers, which prompted Wang to drive around the car to order his Diet Coke, local news station WJLA-TV reported.
