Now, it seems some more official merchandise for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla might be coming soon. On the IGN show Up at Noon hosted by Max Scoville and Brian Altano, the duo teased an upcoming Eivor statue created by PureArts in Montreal.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is the next installment in Ubisoft’s massive Assassin’s Creed franchise, this time centering around Viking and Norse history. The development team behind the game seem to be trying to make it as fun and engaging as possible, while also making it as historically accurate as can be. For instance, the game’s creative director recently broke down how Viking rap battles will function in the game – something that something that real Vikings participated in as a challenge of wit and humor.
Now, it seems that surrounding merchandise for Valhalla is ramping up production. The statue tease came early last week from IGN’s official Up at Noon show, hosted by IGN’s Max Scoville and Brian Altano. During the show, the duo unboxed different statues sent by PureArts, including a greyscale design of the male version of Eivor. While Ubisoft has confirmed that players can select Eivor’s gender, an image of the female Eivor appeared online but was swiftly taken down by Ubisoft.
For those who may not know, PureArts is well known for producing high-quality statues based on video games. The company has produced statues for game franchises like Dark Souls, Ghost Recon, Assassin’s Creed, and Watch Dogs. In fact, it wouldn’t come as a major surprise if PureArts eventually revealed a statue design based on Ubisoft’s other open-world game that’s on the horizon: Watch Dogs Legion. However, with Watch Dogs Legion being indefinitely delayed, it may be a while before gamers seen PureArts’ hypothetical creation. With the delay, Watch Dogs Legion could learn from Valhalla’s open-world format and gameplay structure.
Thankfully, it seems that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla shouldn’t be suffering from any major delays, especially since Valhalla is now a known PS5 launch game. More specifically, the game is going to be a cross-generation, appearing on the PS4 and Xbox One as well as the PS5 and Xbox Series X. Regardless, those excited to experience Eivor’s story should keep an eye out for PureArt’s upcoming Eivor statue.
