Come July 19, PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to check out five games from Ubisoft’s critically-acclaimed Assassin’s Creed series. This includes Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection, itself a compilation of three games, meaning that, technically, there will be seven Assassin’s Creed games added to PS Plus Extra on July 19.

Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection is a remastered collection of the AC games starring fan favorite character Ezio as the main protagonist. This includes Assassin’s Creed 2, considered by many to be one of the absolute best games in the series, as well as the well-received follow-ups Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood and Assassin’s Creed Revelations.
Assassin’s Creed Games on PS Plus List
Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection - PS4 Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag - PS4 Assassin’s Creed Freedom Cry - PS4 Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered - PS4 Assassin’s Creed Unity - PS4
Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag is also featured in the July 19 PS Plus Extra update, another well-received game in the series. Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag was notable for its focus on naval gameplay, allowing players to sail the ocean on an upgradeable pirate ship. Its standalone expansion Assassin’s Creed Freedom Cry is also part of the July 19 PS Plus lineup, so fans of the franchise have to look forward to as well.
And finally, Assassin’s Creed fans also have Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered and Assassin’s Creed Unity to check out on July 19. Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered is narratively and mechanically tied to Assassin’s Creed 4, while Assassin’s Creed Unity shifts the focus to France and adds co-op to the mix. Assassin’s Creed Unity was notoriously buggy at the time of its original release, but the many updates since have greatly improved the experience. Those who played it at launch may now want to give it a second chance, especially since they can play it through their PS Plus Extra subscription.
Ubisoft has been adding many of its games to not only PS Plus Extra, but Xbox Game Pass as well. It seems that fans of Ubisoft’s titles will have no problem playing the bulk of the company’s modern library of games on their platform and subscription services of choice.
